PT Pindad (Persero) at Mercu Buana University Event
PT Pindad (Persero) was participated on the Opening of New Student Lectures Regular Program of Mercu Buana University Academic Year 2013/2014. This event was held on September 2nd, 2013 at Mercu Buana University Atrium, West Jakarta. On this event, PT Pindad (Persero) was involved on Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing and also participated on the exhibition.
PT Pindad (Persero) and Mercu Buana University were signing the MoU at some subjects, such as; education, research, and community service, especially on defence industry field. The MoU was signed by Director of Planning and Development of PT Pindad (Persero) Wahyu Utomo and Faculty of Engineering Dean of Mercu Buana University Dana Santoso and Mercu Buana University Rector Arissetyanto Nugroho. The and signing was also witnessed by Minister of Defence, Purnomo Yusgiantoro.
On the MoU stated that the cooperation between PT Pindad (Persero) an Mercu Buana University covering some fields such as education field, which PT Pindad (Persero) providing the facilities for Mercu Buana University students who want to do a job training; research field, which there will be some researches on defence field for some engineering majors at Mercu Buana University; and community service, which PT Pindad (Persero) would take a part on some events which held by Mercu Buana University, such as UMB Career.

PT Pindad (Persero) was also participated on the exhibition by displaying some of their leading products such as some mock ups of special vehicle products such as mobile shooting range, Komodo tactical vehicle, Policia Water Canon, and Anoa Panser. Some brochures which contained products information like weapons, ammunitions, and some commercial products were also provided for the visitors. (Anggia)
